Recruitment

The Agency follows the personnel policy of the Staff Regulations of Officials and Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Community applicable at EU institutions and agencies. Successful candidates may be offered a post on the basis of these Staff Regulations. Jobs at the EFCA are open to women and men, who are nationals of the EU Member States. Candidates are recruited on the condition they have full rights as a citizen. Candidates must have fulfilled any obligations imposed on them by laws concerning military service and meet the requirements for the duties involved.

The Agency has a limited number of posts of Temporary Agents and Contract Agents recruited through open selection procedures. Recruitment follows the standards of the EU institutions. EFCA may offer:

  • three-years renewable contracts as Temporary Agents
  • fixed-term renewable contracts as Contract Agents.

Traineeships

The Agency offers a limited number of traineeships to candidates who successfully passed a selection procedure for trainees organized by the European Commission. Seconded National Experts

EFCA has launched a call for expression of interest for secondment of national experts to the Agency to set up a pool of candidates for future needs. For further information on this call, please contact the Permanent Representation of your Member State. Important: Your application for a secondment to EFCA must be submitted by the Permanent Representation of the Member State that intends to second you.
